






The Marion County Springs Festival committee invites you to join us September 26, 2009 at Rainbow Springs State Park for the Eighth Annual Marion County Springs Festival. Other activities on the 27th mean water issue activities all weekend. Enjoy the beauty of "THE REAL FLORIDA." The event will be full of festivities including live entertainment, a Springs Song Contest, Photography contest, Arts and Crafts, door prize giveaways and most importantly, opportunities to hear Florida's premier water experts speaking on the topics of the Floridian Aquifer and our fresh water challenges.
Bring friends and family for a fun and informative weekend and enjoy learning how you can make a difference in preserving this natural resource. Outdoors enthusiasts can enjoy hiking, canoeing, camping, bird watching and exhibits in some of the most scenic and pristine areas in north central Florida.
The Marion County Springs Festival is an educational and tourism project of the Friends of Silver River State Park, a non profit, 501(c)3 organization.
